Things are back to where they started. In the 1960’s Mohammed Ali trained by sparring, running, shadow boxing, jumping rope & speed bag. In the 1970’s, 80’s , 90’s came high tech weight lifting machines, treadmills, ellipticals, step, spinning. Clothes went from shorts, tshirts, sweats, All Stars, running flats to all fancy footwear fit to the sport and lycra etc. We are back to the basics. Jogging, squats, lunges, yoga, calisthenics (pushups, crunches, planks, burpees), running cones, jumping (plyometrics), truck tires, kettle bells and medicine balls etc. Easy to implement, simple and less expensive. Oh yes and back to sweats, tshirts and shorts. Welcome back, everything old is new again.
